Studies Find That MEDITERRANEAN FOOD Helps Fight DEPRESSION IN YOUNG MEN
A new study from @utsengage has found that a Mediterranean diet helps relieve the symptoms of depression in young men (aged 16-24). They attribute this to the replacement of processed foods with fresher ingredients and a balanced diet. So if you’ve got kids this age, try cooking more oily fish instead of red meat, adding more legumes and whole grains instead of white bread/pasta, and make sure you cook everything with olive oil!
